Volunteering is an amazing way for you to give back to your community!
We are a small, but mighty local United Way and are often limited on resources that can help us better serve our communities. Volunteers are a huge part of how we accomplish what we can in Stephenson, Jo Daviess & Carroll Counties. We rely on the invaluable resources that our volunteers are so generous in sharing with us - their time, their talents, and their commitment to our mission - that help us serve our local communities.
From birth until a child's 5th birthday, children enrolled in the program receive a new, age-appropriate book mailed to their home each month.

United Way of Northwest Illinois has been celebrating Day of Action in our local community for many years. Our annual Day of Action is in June each year and we partner with local workplaces and volunteers to serve the local communities of Stephenson, Jo Daviess and Carroll Counties.
